AWS Well-Architected Review

AWS Well-Architected Review

We review your AWS workloads against all six Well-Architected pillars and hand you a prioritized plan. Funded through the AWS Well-Architected Partner Program.

Book your review

Built on the six AWS Well-Architected pillars

AWS built the Well-Architected Framework from thousands of customer architectures. We use it, and the AWS Well-Architected Tool, to assess your workload the way AWS does.

Operational Excellence

Run and monitor workloads so they keep delivering, and keep improving.

Cost Optimization

Pay for what delivers value and stop paying for what doesn't.

Security

Protect data, systems, and identities with the right controls, by design.

Reliability

Recover from failure, scale with demand, and do what you promised, every time.

Performance Efficiency

Use compute, storage, and databases well as requirements shift.

Sustainability

Cut the energy and resources your workloads consume, and show it.

Funded by AWS, with credits for the fixes

The workshop, the review, and the report are funded through the AWS Well-Architected Partner Program. Fix at least 45% of the High-Risk Issues with us, and you can qualify for USD 5,000 in AWS credits per workload. AWS sets the terms, so we confirm what applies before we start.

From review to results in six to ten weeks

One clear path from finding the risks to fixing them. Timeframes are typical for one workload; we set the plan with you.

01
Half a day

Workshop

We agree on the workload and the business goals with your architects and owners.

02
1–2 weeks

Architecture review

Our AWS-certified specialists walk through your workload with your team in the AWS Well-Architected Tool.

03
1 week

Risk and improvement report

Every finding grouped by risk level, High-Risk Issues first, with a plan for what to fix and in what order.

04
2–6 weeks

Remediation

We fix the High-Risk Issues with you, in code where possible, and a follow-up review triggers the AWS credit request.

What comes next

Keep your platform in shape with Cloud Platform, FinOps, or managed operations. Or take it from here yourselves.

"Redeploy has been essential in realizing our broader stroke cost optimizations in our AWS organization. They've been very self-sufficient and are very professional in both taking initiative and input when needed. They get my strongest recommendation!"

Frequently Asked Questions

What does it cost?

The review costs you nothing. It is funded through the AWS Well-Architected Partner Program. If you choose Redeploy to fix the findings, that work is a normal engagement, and fixing at least 45% of the High-Risk Issues can qualify you for USD 5,000 in AWS credits per workload.

Who qualifies?

Organizations with at least one workload in production on AWS. We take a limited number of funded reviews each month, so we confirm fit in a short call first.

What happens after the report?

You decide. Fix the findings with us and qualify for AWS credits, fix them with your own team, or combine the two. Many customers then keep their platform in shape with our Cloud Platform, FinOps, or managed operations.

How long does it take?

Typically six to ten weeks for one workload, from workshop to remediated High-Risk Issues. The review itself takes one to two weeks.

Who needs to be involved?

Solution architects, tech leads, and product owners, plus the people who own operations, security, and cost for the workload.

What counts as a workload?

A set of resources and code that delivers business value, such as a customer-facing application or a backend process. It can span one AWS account or many.

How often should we do a review?

Every 12 to 18 months, and before a major launch or migration, while issues are still cheap to fix.

Can we sign an NDA first?

Yes. We are happy to put an NDA in place before we start.

Do you also review Azure?

Yes. We run Well-Architected Reviews on Azure too, with the same method and report.
