FinOps Assessment
Your cloud bill keeps growing and nobody can fully explain it. We show you where the money goes and who owns it, then hand you a costed, prioritized plan your teams can act on, quick wins first.
A growing cloud bill nobody owns
Most cloud estates grew one subscription at a time. Costs are tracked at subscription level, tagging is patchy, and advisor recommendations pile up with no one assigned to act on them. When finance asks what drives the bill, the answer takes weeks and still comes with caveats.
Reduce cloud costs across the whole estate
We look past the virtual machines to everything you pay for: storage, networking, databases, data platforms, and the governance around them. Every finding gets an owner, an estimated yearly saving and a change risk, so you know what to fix first.

Know where your practice stands
We rate each capability in the FinOps Framework from Crawl to Walk to Run, then set the target your roadmap aims for.
Crawl
Processes exist but are manual and reactive. Cost data sits in silos, and optimization happens after the bill arrives.
Walk
Processes are established, with some automation and shared data across teams. Optimization runs on a regular cadence.
Run
Cost is part of how teams build and operate. Decisions are data-driven, and optimization is continuous and largely automated.
Four phases, four artifacts
Each phase produces one artifact you keep. Together they take you from a bill nobody can explain to a plan your owners have agreed to.
Onboarding
We get read access to your cost and usage data, agree scope with your sponsor, and name an owner per area.
Baseline
We analyze cost history across every subscription and map spend to owners and services.
Assessment
We look for waste across compute, storage, networking, databases and data platforms, and review tagging, budgets, alerts and policy.
Validation
We validate findings with owners, rank the biggest sources of waste, and turn them into a costed backlog and a roadmap from quick wins to long-term changes.

Often funded by Microsoft
A FinOps partner that can also build and run
We have been a cloud, data and AI partner since 2015. We are a Microsoft Solutions Partner, AWS Advanced Tier certified and a FinOps Certified Service Provider, and the same team can build the changes you decide on and run cost governance after go-live.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a FinOps assessment?
A FinOps assessment is a structured review of your cloud spend, cost ownership and FinOps maturity that ends in a costed, prioritized plan to reduce cloud costs.
How is this different from our native cost tools?
Native tools list recommendations, but they cannot tell which ones are safe to act on or who owns them. We validate findings with your owners, price each action, and rank them by saving and change risk. You get a backlog your teams can execute.
Is this only about virtual machines?
No. VM right-sizing is one workstream. We also cover storage, networking, databases, data platforms such as Databricks, and the governance around them.
What do you need from us?
Read access to cost and usage data, a sponsor, and owners who can prioritize and approve changes. The kickoff names every owner.
Do you make changes for us?
Only when you ask and the owner has approved. We can carry out changes such as VM right-sizing directly. Resources managed as infrastructure as code change through your own pipelines, owned by your developers.
Do you buy reservations or savings plans for us?
No. The assessment shows where commitments would pay off, and the purchase decision stays with you.
Can the assessment be funded?
Often, yes. Eligible customers can have it funded through Microsoft partner programs, and we check eligibility with you before kickoff.
What happens after the assessment?
You work through the backlog, quick wins first. We can carry out the changes your owners approve and run ongoing cost governance as a managed service, so the savings hold.
