LFF’s Modern Data Platform Delivers Insights in Minutes

Industry
Customer Since
When Länsförsäkringar Fastighetsförmedling needed to modernize their analytics stack, they turned to Redeploy. The result? A secure, cloud-native data platform with a Power BI reporting suite that puts trusted insights in the hands of the business – fast.
In Brief
- Aging infrastructure and a fragmented BI setup made reporting slow and disconnected.
- Faster time to insight, stronger decision-making, and a solid foundation for data initiatives in the long term.
- Redeploy built a modern data platform on Azure using Azure Databricks and Power BI, with integrated APIs and governance frameworks.
Challenge
Länsförsäkringar Fastighetsförmedling (LFF) had outgrown their existing analytics stack. With an aging infrastructure and a business intelligence solution that was not used to its full potential, the business struggled to access insights that were 100% reliable. Decision-making was slow and disconnected from the full source of truth. More critically, they lacked the digital backbone to explore AI, machine learning, or any kind of data innovation.
What began as a discovery phase and conversations about BI evolved into a long-term data strategy for scalable, cloud-first analytics with Power BI at the front.
“This wasn’t just about modernizing our previous infrastructure. This was about expanding what was possible and creating a business intelligence platform that puts data at the center of every decision.”
– Roger Ronland, CTO at LFF
Solution
Together with LFF, Redeploy delivered an end-to-end modern data platform using Azure and Azure Databricks as the foundation. The new platform integrates four core APIs from critical business systems, channeling reliable insights where they matter most – into the hands of people making decisions.
Key components of the solution included:
- Cloud-Native Architecture: A secure, scalable data platform built on Azure.
- Business System Integrations: Ingested and modeled data from core business systems using Azure Databricks.
- Power BI Suite: Replaced Tableau with an MS Teams integrated reporting experience in Power BI.
- Data Governance Framework: Designed to be secure and sustainable in the long term.
- Business Enablement: Delivered curated Power BI reports across multiple business domains.
As the new BI platform emerged and teams across the business saw the potential, reporting needs followed. Internal interest in data literacy and analytics training grew, and predictive modeling is now part of the roadmap.
“With Redeploy, we’ve built a data platform that’s both flexible and secure – ready for AI, predictive modeling, and whatever comes next.”
– Roger Ronland, CTO at LFF
